Bristol Township Community Development Block Grant Program

Public Hearing and Availability of the Draft Fiscal Year 2021 Action Plan


Bristol Township is an entitlement community eligible to receive financial assistance from  the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.  In accordance with federal regulations, 24 CFR, Part 91, Bristol Township has prepared a draft Annual Action Plan for the FY 2021 submission for its Community Development Program. Bristol Township intends to submit this Annual Action Plan to HUD by May 7, 2021.


The proposed FY 2021 Annual Action Plan is a component of the Township’s 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan that identifies resources and strategies to assist in meeting the housing and community development needs and includes plans for monitoring performance. Bristol Township has been allocated $647,609.00 in CDBG funds for FY 2021. The CDBG funds will be used for public facilities and infrastructure improvements, affordable housing related projects, owner occupied emergency repairs, economic development and programs for the homelessness. 


There will be a virtual public hearing conducted by the Bristol Township Council, on April 15, 2021 at 7:00 PM. The required commenting period regarding the Annual Action Plan begins on March 16, 2021 and ends on April 14, 2021.
